Summary:
The CAO Data Analytics & Insights team is seeking an experienced Agile Data Product Owner to lead the delivery of enterprise data products that support reporting, analytics, data governance, regulatory compliance, and business decision-making.
This role serves as the business owner for a defined data product area, partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, data governance, risk, and compliance partners to translate strategic priorities into a well-managed product backlog and deliver measurable business value.
Responsibilities:
Own, prioritize, and manage the product backlog.
Define and refine features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and PI Planning.
Partner with Product Managers to align delivery with roadmap objectives.
Collaborate with Technology, Data Governance, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and competing priorities.
Review and accept completed work against defined acceptance criteria.
Monitor product adoption, value realization, and data quality outcomes.
Qualifications:

Experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments.
Strong understanding of data products, data management, and analytics solutions.
Experience translating business requirements into data capabilities such as data sourcing, data quality, reporting, analytics, metadata, and lineage.
Proven stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
Knowledge of governance, risk, compliance, and control requirements in regulated environments.
Agile certifications (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP). (preferred)
Experience with enterprise data warehouses, cloud data platforms, data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality initiatives.
Financial services experience preferred.
Experience working in highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or healthcare.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
