Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and serve community meals.
- Perform housekeeping duties and help maintain a clean, organized living environment.
- Provide laundry services and assist residents with clothing care.
- Assist residents with grocery shopping and obtaining personal necessities.
- Community activities as needed.
- Provide reminders and assistance with self-administration of medications in accordance with facility policies.
- Monitor resident well-being and report concerns, changes, or incidents to management.
- Encourage resident participation in social and community activities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
- Follow all facility policies, resident rights, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Foster a respectful, supportive, and positive living environment for all residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience working with elderly individuals or persons with disabilities preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to resident support and social work principles

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
