Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience with blood draws, assisting in surgery, and providing exceptional care to our patients. While a veterinary technician license is preferred, we will also consider applicants with relevant experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine veterinary tasks, including blood draws, lab work, and sample collection
- Assist with surgeries and anesthesia monitoring, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Provide compassionate care to patients during exams, treatments, and recovery
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on patient care and answering questions
- Educate clients on pet care, treatments, and preventative measures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including handling medical equipment
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to provide the highest standard of care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician ideal but not required
- Experience with blood draws, surgery assistance, and patient care
- Strong client communication skills and the ability to explain medical conditions and procedures

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- Team-oriented with a passion for animal care
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) is preferred but not required
- Availability for flexible hours (part-time or full-time available)
