- Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate acupuncture techniques, trigger point therapy, and other holistic modalities to address acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Perform acupuncture procedures with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment to ensure patient safety.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems accurately for documentation of diagnoses, treatment notes, and progress reports.
- Utilize healthcare diagnosis skills to identify underlying issues related to pain and discomfort, guiding patients through tailored treatment options.
- Educate patients on physiology, anatomy, pain management strategies, and the benefits of acupuncture as part of their overall healthcare plan.
- Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and healthcare protocols while delivering direct patient care with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers when necessary to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate comprehensive care.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Licensed Acupuncturist with a strong background in pain medicine, acute pain management, and trigger point therapy.
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare diagnosis, physical examinations, and patient assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, TCM principles, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice.
- Prior experience providing direct patient care in a clinical setting with a focus on pain management or holistic therapies is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform acupuncture safely using aseptic techniques while maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient safety.
