Our Team is based out of our office in Burlington, Massachusetts, where we work in-office Monday through Thursday each week, and remotely on Fridays. Team members must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from our Burlington office. This position reports to the Director of IT.
What You’ll Accomplish
As our IT Security and Network Administrator, you will be responsible for securing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, systems, and cloud environments. This role blends hands-on network administration with proactive cybersecurity operations to ensure high availability, performance, and protection against evolving cyber threats. The annual salary range for this position is $101,600.00 to $148,300.00, based on a full-time work schedule, anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational equity. Compensation may vary within that pay range depending on the selected candidate’s professional background, experience, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The full compensation details will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer and may include eligibility for participation in a bonus program.

What You’ll Accomplish
As our IT Security and Network Administrator, you will be responsible for securing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, systems, and cloud environments. This role blends hands-on network administration with proactive cybersecurity operations to ensure high availability, performance, and protection against evolving cyber threats. In this role, you will own or contribute to the following:
- Security operations and governance management, including security access control systems and applications, security incident response planning and management, disaster recovery planning, vendor risk assessments, penetration and vulnerability testing and assessments
- Network and infrastructure administration, including oversight of networks, firewalls, and VPN environments, from configurations and monitoring to issue resolution and implementation of best practices
- Systems and endpoint security management, including Active Directory, Entra AD, identity-related services (MFA, SSO), MDM, EDR, patch management, regular system patching (Windows/Linux) and security updates
- Cloud and collaboration security for Microsoft 365 and associated services
- Continuous improvement and automation: Partner with both the IT and business teams to identify opportunities, develop and implement solutions, and maintain documentation

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in IT security, network administration, or systems engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with
- Network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi),
- Active Directory, Entra AD, and identity management (MFA, SSO), and
- Microsoft 365 security and administration
- Experience with vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation
- Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices (NIST, CIS, Zero Trust concepts)
- Experience with endpoint security tools (MDM, EDR) and patch management processes
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues end-to-end
