We are currently looking for a full-time professional Guest Room Attendant (GRA) to join our North Carolina team! The GRA is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in designated locations by following established standards by Wellness Cleaning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Others could be assigned.
· Collaborates with team members to clean designated areas efficiently. Ensures all public spaces are free from debris and maintained including lobbies, entrances, gaming floors and machines, and restrooms.
· Adheres to SDS and OSHA standards for safe chemical handling and usage. Reports all bio-hazards and damages to the inspector/supervisor.
· Makes beds, sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, wipes down surfaces, empties ashtrays, disposes of trash, and replaces bag liners. Monitors and addresses spills promptly to prevent slip hazards.
· Cleans behind appliances and all room furniture.
· Cleans bathrooms, scrubs basins, bathtubs, shower walls and doors, toilets, and tile using appropriate equipment and chemicals. Places clean bathmats on tubs or shower doors
· Makes beds, sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, wipes down surfaces, empties ashtrays, disposes of trash, and replaces bag liners. Monitors and addresses spills promptly to prevent slip hazards.
· Inspects, sorts, pre-treats laundry and operates washing machines, dryers and other laundry equipment.
· Folds, presses, and irons laundered items. Monitors and maintains appropriate levels of linen inventory. Ensures timely delivery of clean laundry.
· Implements safe work practices by wearing protective equipment and adhering to SDS and OSHA standards for safe chemical handling and usage. Adheres to client security protocols.
· Reports all bio-hazards and damages to the inspector/supervisor.
· Reports any damages, maintenance, repairs, or replenishment needs to supervisors promptly.
· Promptly reports lost and found items.
· Provides excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and directions. Addresses customer concerns or requests related to cleanliness. Forwards concerns and requests to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
· Education: No education requirement, but preferred high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
· Required Experience: Three months to one year related experience in housekeeping or an EVS role.
