Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct drain cleaning using specialized tools and techniques to ensure proper flow and prevent blockages.
- Perform plumbing system inspections, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective repair solutions while adhering to local building codes.
- Manage construction site tasks such as heavy lifting, assembly of plumbing components, remodeling projects, and site cleanup.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation between job sites while maintaining safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members to provide excellent customer service and ensure project satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on commercial plumbing projects.
- Skilled in welding, pipe threading, drain cleaning, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of water systems, plumbing system maintenance, repair techniques, and construction plumbing practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to commercial plumbing installations.
- Experience operating plumbing inspection cameras for diagnostics.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; commercial driving certification is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work in confined spaces safely.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Handyman experience or background in remodeling projects is advantageous.
