QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalency
EXPERIENCE: Previous maintenance and janitorial experience preferred.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Must have good vision, hearing, and hand-eye coordination. Must be able to follow written work instructions. Must be able to multitask. Must be team-oriented and have good communication skills. Must have great attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to grip, push, and pull with 80lb strength on a regular basis. Must be able to generate 15lbs of pinch strength on occasion. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical including the ability to wear a respiratory mask when required. Must be able to perform elevated work on a regular basis. Must be able to stand on concrete up to 8 hours. Must be able to operate and be certified on a variety of powered industrial trucks and equipment. Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required personal protective equipment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Be able to follow work instructions and procedures
- Operation of specific vehicles (Case End loader, skid loader, tow motor and other utility Equipment)
- Assists other departments by effectively and efficiently keeping the flow of materials and assisting maintenance department as needed.
- Reading pH meters, calibrate gauges, and responsible handling of hazardous materials and hazardous waste through the direction of the Environmental and Safety department.
- Unload sand hoppers, and sand trucks, trash hoppers and cardboard hoppers
- Clean bathrooms, hallways, etc.
- Run sweeper equipment and floor care equipment
- Move items such as file cabinets, desks, etc. as needed
- Clean and perform preventive maintenance
on sand mixers
