What are the responsibilities and job description for the Borescope Inspector position at Wellman Dynamics Division?

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Must have good vision/sight (must meet industry standards and have no color discrimination), depth perception, hearing, and hand-eye coordination, and dexterity. Reading, writing, above average math aptitude is necessary. Must be team-oriented, problem-solver, and self-motivated. Must be able to follow written work instructions. Must be able to multitask and meet production goals and deadlines. Must be team-oriented and have good communication skills. Must have great attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. Must be able to grip, push, and pull with 80lb strength on a regular basis. Must be able to generate 15lbs of pinch strength on occasion. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical. Must be able to perform elevated work on an occasional basis. Some tasks require repetitive activities. Must be able to stand on concrete up to 8 hours. Must be willing to cross-train within the classification. Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required personal protective equipment. Must be willing to work any shift.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Must be able to work with a scope to dig out defects and ensure internal passages are not blocked.
- Must be able to operate a scope and tools associated with cleaning the internal passages of each casting.
- Must be able to operate and calibrate gauges and testing equipment.
