Job Title: IT Administrator
Location: Victor, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused IT Administrator to support day-to-day IT operations across a growing enterprise environment. This role will provide a blend of desktop support, systems administration, user support, and infrastructure troubleshooting. Ideal candidates will enjoy working directly with end users while also gaining exposure to broader IT administration responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to internal users via phone, email, remote support, and onsite assistance
- Administer and support Active Directory user accounts, password resets, permissions, and group policies
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
- Support Windows-based environments including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding activities including account provisioning and equipment setup
- Support Cisco networking environments including switches, routers, and basic connectivity troubleshooting
- Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and support procedures
- Escalate complex infrastructure and systems issues when needed
- Assist with IT inventory management and asset tracking
- Deliver excellent customer service and technical support across the organization
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Active Directory administration (users, permissions, password resets)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and Cisco environments
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems and end-user environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable interacting with users both remotely and onsite
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A , Network , or similar certifications
- Previous experience in Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Systems Administration
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation
- Exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure AD / Entra ID, or endpoint management tools
Compensation
- $25-$30/hour DOE
- Full-time hours with intent to convert permanently

Salary : $25 - $30
