Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance patrols to identify potential security threats or breaches.
• Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Perform thorough background checks on new employees or vendors as part of the onboarding process.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations by executing established procedures such as fire drills, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, accidents, or violations for review and follow-up.
• Conduct physical security tasks including patrolling premises, manual handling of equipment or materials, and heavy lifting when necessary.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety protocols.
• Operate emergency response equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), Taser devices, and firearms where permitted by law.
• Perform first aid procedures including CPR and AED operation to assist injured individuals until professional help arrives.
• Enforce compliance with security regulations and company policies through routine inspections and audits.

Experience

• Proven background in security roles with experience in surveillance, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and manage access control systems effectively.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, fire safety protocols, and incident report writing.
• Familiarity with CCTV operation, conflict management techniques, and physical security measures such as patrolling and heavy lifting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in high-pressure situations.
• Certification in first aid/CPR/AED is highly desirable; firearm handling or Taser certification is a plus.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
