Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering duties accurately at the end of shifts
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
- Follow all food safety protocols including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or kitchen support is advantageous
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required in a fast-paced environment
