What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) Nights PRN Intake position at Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital?
Wellfound is hiring a PRN night RN to join the Intake Unit. These are 12 hour shifts from 7 pm - 730 am.
Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients.

RN’s promote and restore patients' or clients mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process; create psychiatric care plans and wrap around services within a medical model; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provide physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervise assigned team members.

- Hourly- $41.12- $76.24 15% per diem (pay is based on the union scale for experience)
- Shift Differentials: $4.25 nights and $3.00 weekends

- 403B with discretionary match for those that participate in the plan and meet work requirements
- You will accrue Paid Sick and Safe Leave at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Paid Sick leave cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date.

- Associate degree in nursing, BSN preferred.
- Current Washington State license without restrictions or accepted compact license
- One year psychiatric nursing experience
- Candidate should possess strong nursing assessment skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
