Wellfound is hiring a night shift Environmental Services Tech to join our team. This is 30 hours per week position, with three 10-hour shifts from 8:00 PM-6:30 AM and rotating weekends. Must be able to work all days of the week.

Duties
- Use appropriate cleaning techniques, supplies, and safety precautions in cleaning assigned area and equipment.
- Adhere to and demonstrate knowledge for all infection control policies and procedures required to maintain the patient care environment.
- Dispose of all medical waste, (regular, recyclable, and regulated) appropriately. Knowledgeable of regulatory requirements for correct waste segregation.
- Use computer to update EPIC as primary tool for tracking of individual progress of all work completed throughout the day.
- Work closely with other staff to obtain or provide routine information, submit work orders, request supplies, and schedule maintenance work.
- Follow HIPAA and Privacy laws

- Hourly: $18.04 - $33.45 an hour based on union scale experience
- Shift differentials: $1.25 an hour additional on weekends, $2.00 an hour additional at night

- Paid Time Off - You will accrue Paid Sick and Safe Leave at 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Paid Sick leave cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date.
- Paid Time Off will be accrued based on hours worked and tenure. You will accrue 0.12 hours of PTO per hours worked until you reach the next level of accrual. PTO cannot be used until 90 days after your hire date with the exception of designated Wellfound holidays.
- Must have effective oral / written English communication skills in order to perform job.
- Ability to independently utilize a computer and enter data multiple times per day
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Heart Saver through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience in environmental services in a healthcare or hotel setting.
