Job Posting Title Event Staff (On-Call, Part-time) Job Description Summary Admin Casual Job Description Perform all tasks associated with setting up, serving and breaking down of dining room/terrace where food service activities are performed. Provide prompt, courteous, smooth and efficient service of food and beverage to VIP guests during events in the President’s house. Perform back of the house activities such as washing and organizing tableware and supplies. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices. Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Relay important information about allergies and specials requests to the appropriate person. Present a professional appearance and mannerisms. Independently follow through on assigned tasks and duties Work as a team member to follow through with the proper and timely set-up and execution of events. Show flexibility and ability to adapt to changes as they emerge. Be able to lift and move objects up to 20 lbs. Prior restaurant or catering experience is desirable. Hours are on-call and as-needed, depending upon scheduled events at the President’s House.
