At Weller's Bistro, nestled in the heart of Ogden, UT, we’re passionate about bringing the rich flavors of authentic German cuisine to our community. Known for our tender goulash, inventive mushroom dishes, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, we take pride in creating an unforgettable dining experience for every guest. Now, we’re looking for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and help us continue crafting dishes that delight and inspire.

As our Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure every dish meets our high standards of quality and taste. You’ll oversee food preparation, assist in menu planning, and manage kitchen staff during service. From maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensuring consistency in every plate, your expertise will help us deliver the exceptional dining experience our customers have come to love. Additionally, you’ll bring your creativity to the table, contributing ideas for seasonal specials and new menu items that align with our German culinary traditions.

We’re seeking a Sous Chef with a passion for authentic cuisine and at least 5 years of professional kitchen experience. The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a busy kitchen environment.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high food quality standards.
• The ability to work collaboratively with a team while also taking initiative when needed.
• A deep appreciation for German cuisine is a plus, though not required.

Compensation for this role will be based on experience and discussed during the interview process.
