What You’ll Own
- Translate work orders, diagrams, and layouts into accurate setups and welds.
- Fit and secure components in jigs/fixtures; clamp per layout references.
- Choose equipment and settings aligned with specifications and material thickness.
- Run GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes with consistent quality.
- Perform tack, vertical, and overhead welding as required.
- Inspect completed welds for bead size, profile, and overall conformity.
- Execute repairs: crack remediation, hole filling, and build-up operations.
- Grind, blend, and remove slag/spatter to achieve final finish.
- Degrease and clean parts to maintain weld integrity and appearance.
- Follow all established quality systems, process controls, and safety procedures.
- Proven hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience.
- Prior welding background or related technical training.
- Readiness to pass a weld test administered by a CWI.
- Skilled at reading prints, weld symbols, work instructions, and layouts.
- Sharp attention to detail with a quality-first approach.
- Able to stand for the full shift and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Reliable team member comfortable in a manufacturing setting.
- Forklift proficiency
