Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and ongoing mental health treatment
- Provide psychiatric medication management and monitor treatment response
- Diagnose and treat substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Assist with psychiatric stabilization during detox and residential treatment
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Order and interpret labs, toxicology screens, and other diagnostics as clinically indicated
- Provide 24/7 on-call psychiatric clinical support as scheduled
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff, therapists, medical providers, and interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation per Wisconsin DHS and licensing standards
- Participate in treatment planning, case reviews, and clinical team meetings
- Active Wisconsin APRN license in good standing
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Experience in detox, residential treatment, addiction medicine, or behavioral health preferred
- Strong knowledge of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Experience with psychiatric medication management in higher-acuity settings preferred
- Comfortable providing on-call clinical guidance and support
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
- Primarily daytime schedule
