Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.
- Oversee daily unit operations, including admissions, discharges, and coordination of care.
- Ensure all care meets regulatory, clinical, and documentation standards.
- Promote a therapeutic and recovery-focused environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and performance feedback to nursing staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and insurance requirements.
- Respond promptly to crisis situations and model appropriate de-escalation techniques.
- Support compliance with all behavioral health and state/federal regulations.
- Provide on-call support and leadership coverage during the 3pm–11pm shift as scheduled.
- Current RN license (required).
- Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment settings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
