Position Summary:

Since 1961, the Wellborn family has owned and operated Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. The goal is to provide kitchen and bath cabinets crafted by dedicated Wellborn employees with the utmost quality and care. Today, over 55 years later, the product line has broadened to include cabinetry and storage solutions to help maximize the total home living space. One of the initial points of contact in preparation for Manufacturing. This role will employ care and organizational skill to continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living.

The incumbent in this position supports the activities and responsibilities of the Finishing Department

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follows safety guidelines and work process procedures.
• Stage product by production day and paint color group
• Provide paint color grouping guide and daily running order for overhead Paint lines
• Verify job paperwork matches product and proper stacking is performed by the sanding line
• Separate product and stage by type.
• Use roller bed identifying labels (hang tags and/or placards)
• Stage product from all sanding lines in staging area
• Consolidate small jobs with same colors to maximize use of roller beds

Tools, Machinery and Equipment:

• Safety glasses
• Color cones and placards to identify day and color to be painted
• Roller cart

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience.

Scope and Impact:

Position has recurring work situations that involve having a high attention to detail and service results. It is important that Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. Safety protocols be followed as a guide for operational direction. Failing to follow prescribed guidelines will waste resources and adversely impact performance.
