Job Description: Maintenance Technician (Certified Electrician – Texas)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician with current state certification as a Licensed Electrician in Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical equipment within our facility. This role is essential for ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Work
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems in compliance with state and local codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics on equipment and systems.
- Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components for safety and functionality.
General Maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, conveyors, and mechanical infrastructure.
- Assist with machine setup and modifications for production needs.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all OSHA, NFPA, and internal safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in facility inspections and audits, ensuring corrective actions are taken promptly.
Team Support
- Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and other technicians to support ongoing operations.
- Provide training or guidance to junior maintenance team members as needed.

Required Qualifications
- State of Texas Licensed Electrician – Journeyman or higher (must provide documentation).
