This is your opportunity to join our team as a culinary class teacher making a direct impact in people’s lives by teaching private cooking lessons tailored to individuals with special needs in their homes across NJ (high need in Somerset and Camden Counties).

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering cooking classes to neurodiverse individuals at their homes in New Jersey
- Adapting recipes and teaching techniques to accommodate different dietary needs and learning styles
- Assessing the needs of each individual and providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for all participants
- Creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Professional Culinary Education/ Certifications are preferred
- 2 years of experience in teaching and/or working with individuals with diverse abilities and special needs
- Having passion and experience cooking a wide range of dishes is a must
- Strong knowledge of various dietary needs and restrictions, and ability to adapt recipes accordingly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching culinary arts and life skills through cooking.
