Front Desk Receptionist / Customer Service Representative

Pay: $19–$21.00 per hour Signing Bonus

Location: Parker, CO (In-person)

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist who is warm, organized, and passionate about serving both pets and their people. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth, professional, and friendly experience from the moment clients walk through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and manage pet check-ins/check-outs, including weighing dogs on arrival.
  • Schedule and manage appointments to optimize groomer productivity and salon flow.
  • Answer phone calls, provide service and pricing information, and process transactions.
  • Review and verify vaccination records to ensure compliance with salon policies.
  • Confirm appointments and follow up with clients as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe front desk and lobby area.
  • Coordinate closely with grooming staff to ensure seamless, high-quality service.
  • Help maintain a calm, inviting environment for pets and owners.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional, clear texting and confident phone communication with clients
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computers and scheduling software
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a consistently positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of dog breeds and coat types to support service recommendations
  • Confidence working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
  • Ability to stand, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the day

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in veterinary, grooming, animal care, or similar environments
  • Previous Front desk receptionist experience handling calls and scheduling

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
