Parts Room - Tech I - Nights

With supervision and demonstrated mechanical ability, applies best practices, in a safe and constructive manner, to issuing, receiving and returning parts as well as cycle counts, and other duties as assigned.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Participates in completing cycle counts as able and takes actions as deemed necessary to address any inventory/counts issues.
• Efficiently issues, receives and returns parts utilizing established best practices in the Parts Room.
• Assist in locating and distributing parts as needed while displaying a positive attitude.
• Takes consistent steps to ensure a safe and well-organized parts room.
• Eagerly participates in required computer-based training and reaches out for assistance as needed to understand the training, identify any challenges in attaining the training in a timely manner.
• Completes other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
• Displays constructive communication skills with customers, co-workers, leadership and all that they interact with.

Pay Rate: $26.63/hr. This position includes skill progression potential with a top rate of pay at $31.56/hr at Tech III.  Night shift will receive $1.50/hr for night shift differential.

Shift/Hours: Nights.  Approximate shift start time of 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Previous parts and/or production experience preferred. 
• Participation in CBT training process in pursuit of attaining Parts Room Tech II status within 12 months of beginning their position as a Tech I.
• Basic and emerging knowledge of EAM system and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Clean driving record necessary for driving company vehicles between facilities.
