Qualifications
- 4 years experience in accounting or a similar role is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential; ERP systems experience is a plus!
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory management.
- Experience with payroll processing and governmental accounting is a plus.
- Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Help manage accounting staff and provide training as needed to enhance team performance.
