Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a licensed Psychotherapist (LMSW, LMHC, LCAT) at Well Behavioral Health. The psychotherapist will run evening groups at our in-person PTSD intensive outpatient treatment center located in Manhattan, NY. Additional opportunities include leading virtual groups across DBT and Eating Disorder IOP programs and carrying an outpatient caseload. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration to support effective care.
Qualifications
- Experience in working with people with who have PTSD and in delivering evidence based, trauma informed treatment.
- Demonstrates strong passion and experience in delivering trauma-informed mental health care to BIPOC communities.
- Familiarity with trauma treatment modalities and clinical approaches to treating C-PTSD and dissociative disorders
- Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy, or a related field.
- Active licensure as an LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, or equivalent in New York and applicable jurisdictions.
- Strong communication and active listening skills to build trusting client relationships.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and ability to create individualized treatment plans.
- Experience working with eating disorder recovery or interest in developing expertise in this area is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and provide confidential, empathetic care in a remote setting.
- Desire to receive supervision and engage in professional growth.
- Maintain 16-20 hours of clinical availability
- Strong foundational training in psychotherapy and a desire to grow into clinical specialization
- Comforta with telehealth platforms and hybrid work
Pay Range
$45-$65/hour determined by experience level and expertise
Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
