Responsibilities
- Operate riding machinery, hand tools, and power tools to apply fertilizers precisely across various terrains and crop types
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning before use
- Follow detailed application instructions to ensure correct dosage and coverage for different weeds and seasons
- Maintain accurate records of fertilizer applications, including quantities used and locations covered
- Assist with the setup and calibration of equipment to optimize application efficiency and minimize waste
- Support lawn care, sprinkler, or landscaping tasks as needed to enhance overall land health and aesthetics
- Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
Experience
- Prior experience in agriculture, farming, landscaping, or related fields is highly preferred
- Familiarity with sales techniques or customer service skills is a plus for engaging with clients or property owners
- Hands-on knowledge of weed control methods and lawn care practices enhances effectiveness in the role
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and land management equipment safely and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving farm or utility vehicles is advantageous
- Strong understanding of land management principles including fertilization, pest control, and sustainable practices
