What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Tire Technician position at Weldon Tire, Inc?
Weldon Tire, a family owned Iowa based business, has been serving the Dubuque area for 43 years. Weldon Tire has an immediate opening for an experienced tire service technician in Dubuque, IA. This job may require an individual to be able to lift up to approximately 100lbs at certain times. Tire Service technicians with several years of Semi truck tire and OTR tire experience could have compensation greater than posted rates. Some of the basic job tasks that must be performed daily are mounting/dismounting of commercial truck tires, mounting/dismounting passenger/light truck tires, fixing flat tires, mobile service repairs and repairs on Off road tires. Safety is a top priority as well and our employees must be willing to follow all procedures. This career requires a clean current drivers license and ability to pass a DOT physical every two years. Compensation will be negotiable for a experienced truck tire tech with multiple years experience. We offer paid vacation and holidays, health insurance, optional 401K, and advancement opportunities.
