Family owned since its inception in 2004, Weldon Barber is one of Washington’s most elite barbershops. With 3 locations in Spokane, and 6 in established neighborhoods throughout the Puget Sound, we offer access to the region’s top clientele. Responsibilities

• Represents elevated brand image through professional hygiene and dress standards
• Retains clients through consistent execution of services and authentic relationship building
• Maintains awareness and knowledge of current industry standards and trends
• Offers and sells appropriate retail products
• Fulfills general front desk, administrative, and clerical tasks when necessary
• Maintains shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Uses critical thinking to solve problems independently
• Must be able to perform any and all other duties assigned by supervisor
  
  

Qualifications

• Organized, professional, accountable
• Reliably demonstrates superior technical skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to business needs
• Able to operate point of sale system and handle sensitive client information
• Passionate and knowledgeable of salon industry products and services
• Comfortable with selling products and services consistently
• Able to work as part of a team
• May be required to stand for extended periods of time
• Previous salon experience preferred
• Must be a licensed barber/cosmetologist or have the ability to gain license prior to employment
  
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time pay: $39,500 – $184,779
• Part-time pay: Dependent on hours worked
• 75% Employer-Covered Health Insurance Dental, Disability, and Pet

• Paid Time Off: Full-time employees can earn from 3 to 11 days of PTO after completing a 90-day probationary period
