What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fabricator position at WeldNative?

We're hiring a skilled Welder/Fabricator with strong miscellaneous metals or ornamental steel experience to grow with our team in Colorado.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Fabricating and welding structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and ornamental components to drawing and spec
- Reading and interpreting shop drawings independently — no hand-holding required
- Layout, fit-up, and assembly of stairs, railings, frames, brackets, and custom steel work
- Maintaining a clean, safe, organized work area without being told twice
- Supporting field crews on erection as needed — this is a full-trade role, not a one-trick position
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 3 years of welding and fabrication experience with demonstrated misc metals or ornamental work
- Strong MIG and/or flux-core; TIG a plus (especially stainless or ornamental applications)
- The kind of person who's 10 minutes early and irritated when others aren't
- Capable of working independently and communicating clearly
- Valid driver's license; OSHA-10 or ability to obtain one
