POSITION SUMMARY

WeldFit is expanding its HTLS field service footprint with a new service center in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking a hands-on Atlanta US Service Branch Manager to stand up and lead this new location, ensuring customers receive reliable, high-quality service that drives repeat business and supports a profitable, safe, and growing operation across the Southeast US market.

This role owns the full performance of the Atlanta service center—operations, personnel, equipment, and safety—while also driving projects and job execution originating in the region. Primarily focused on Hot Tap and Line Stop (HTLS) services, with room to grow into ISW, Recompression, and Pigging services as the center matures, the ideal candidate is equally comfortable running the branch day-to-day and representing WeldFit in front of customers to grow the local book of business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Branch & Operations Management

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the service center, including facility management, equipment readiness, inventory, and shop safety.
  • Enforce all safety programs and company safety standards to ensure safe working practices for all services personnel.
  • Build out and manage local staffing, including technician hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Develop CapEx plans to support proper, organic fleet growth; manage branch assets and ensure all assets are accounted for and housed per company policy.
  • Manage branch budget, expenses, and equipment/asset utilization.
  • Ensure all costs are allocated to jobs, jobs are closed out in a timely manner, and field tickets are uploaded to SFDC daily for invoicing purposes.
  • Manage internal POs for WeldFit product and fleet purchases, and ensure inventory accuracy.

Project & Field Service Oversight

  • Own end-to-end delivery of Hot Tap and Line Stop projects dispatched out of the region, from job intake through completion and invoicing.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and Corporate Service Operations (Houston) on scheduling, technical requirements, and change orders.
  • Monitor job profitability, margin performance, and utilization for work executed out of the branch.
  • Prepare job cost analyses for quotation opportunities and help recommend competitive, profitable pricing.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for field execution quality and customer satisfaction in the region.

Business Development & Customer Relationships

  • Represent WeldFit locally to develop and grow customer relationships across the Southeast region.
  • Identify and assist with the pursuit of new business opportunities, bids, and quoting support in coordination with Sales and Project Management.
  • Act as a regional ambassador for WeldFit’s HTLS capabilities at customer sites, industry events, and trade associations.
  • Support the MSA process and coordinate with the MSA manager for assigned customers.
  • Own the post-sale customer experience, conduct post-job surveys, and drive measurement of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide market feedback and regional intelligence to corporate leadership to inform growth strategy.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Vendor Management

  • Interface with service line managers and corporate functions (Engineering, HR, Project Management, and Finance) on shared workflows, ensuring positive relationships and fostering teamwork.
  • Develop strong, long-lasting relationships and maintain proper vendor management systems for maintenance and equipment supply.
  • Help resolve payment or collection issues in partnership with the RSM and service line managers.
  • Manage all work opportunities and enter them into the CRM.
  • Travel periodically to the Houston corporate office for leadership meetings, planning sessions, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Report regularly to corporate leadership on branch performance, project pipeline, and safety metrics.
Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry certifications a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a technical team, including hiring and training.
