Manufacturing Assistant - 1st Shift - Entry Level

The Compensation Picture:
- $20-22/hr - depending on level of experience in metal fabrication environment
- Weekly pay
- 401(k) with company match

Your Schedule:
- 5:00am - 3:00pm Monday - Thursday; Friday overtime as needed (typically 5-8 hours)
What You'll Do:
- Support senior manufacturing personnel across laser/denest, assembly, machining, brake press, and welding
- Denest sheet metal parts from laser-cut sheets and validate parts before skids leave the work center
- Inspect and measure parts using calipers, tape measures, and related tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate overhead cranes and basic hand and air tools safely
- Follow all safety policies, standard work instructions, and audit procedures
- Report machine malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervision promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to read and follow basic work instructions and blueprints - proficiency not required on day one, but must be willing to learn
- Comfortable with basic measuring tools and math
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
