Account Manager (Industrial / Technical Sales)
Weld Plus is a Cincinnati-based welding automation and fabrication equipment specialist serving customers across all 50 states. We stock and support a wide range of equipment from – positioners and turning rolls to full automated welding systems – and we’re known for deep expertise, quality solutions, and long-term customer relationships.

What you’ll do
You’ll own the full customer experience from opportunity to quote to order, and drive both retention and growth.
- Revenue generation: identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Account ownership & retention: build lasting relationships with new and existing customers
- Pipeline management: track and move opportunities forward using a structured process (HubSpot)
- Quoting order execution: gather specs, calculate costs, generate proposals, follow up to close, and accurately process POs in the ERP/CRM
- Coordinate details: confirm stock/lead times and communicate updates clearly
- Upsell/cross-sell: spot opportunities to expand orders, trade in equipment, or provide additional solutions
What we’re looking for
- True hunter mentality: driven, competitive, resilient
- 3 years of sales experience (technical/industrial products preferred)
- Mechanically inclined; exposure to manufacturing/industrial environments
- Strong communication presentation skills; polished, punctual, detail-oriented
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace ERP/CRM (HubSpot preferred)
- Willing to travel overnight (less than 10% of the time)
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
