Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an acute-care hospital team in Ada, Oklahoma. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based speech and swallowing therapy.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care.
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support personnel as applicable.
Required:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Prior experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Hospital or acute-care experience is a plus.
