Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Originator located in Hackensack, NJ, with some work from home acceptable. The Mortgage Loan Originator will be responsible for originating mortgage loans, guiding clients through the application process, and ensuring all necessary documentation is complete. The candidate will evaluate and analyze loan applications, work closely with underwriting and processing teams, and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements. Additionally, they will build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
Qualifications
- Experience in Loan Origination and Mortgage Lending. Active NMLS License is required!
- Knowledge and skills in Underwriting and Loans
- Strong Finance acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with loan origination software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field is a plus
- Previous experience in a mortgage or banking environment is highly desirable
