Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Opportunity at Columbia Healthcare Center
12-Hour Shifts | Day Shift or Night Shift|Every Other Weekend | No On-Call
Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in fostering a warm and supportive environment where the resident’s well-being is prioritized. CNAs work alongside the nursing team to assist residents with daily care needs while providing companionship, reassurance and support.
In This Role:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility.
- Help with lifting, positioning and transferring residents as needed.
- Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
- Work with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated care.
- Help maintain a safe, respectful and comfortable environment for residents.
Requirements:
- Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
