Position Overview
Provide maintenance services for seasonal equipment and all equipment for plant production and processing to accomplish established production requirements. This is a union position and the pay rate is $29.22 per hour.

Where You'll Work
This role will be based out of our 24/7 manufacturing facility in Lawton, MI.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for production and processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, building maintenance, seasonal preparation, and gas wells.
- Develops familiarity with the maintenance requirement of plant processing, production and seasonal operations through a thorough and continuing evaluation of production, processing and seasonal requirements, techniques, procedures, facilities and equipment. Maintains constant contact with production and processing supervision.
- Recommends and initiates changes to improve equipment operating performance, performs job estimates, work scheduling and budget control.
- Assures that maintenance operations are carrier out within established housekeeping and sanitation procedures, and applicable government regulations.
- Participates in all regular meetings as directed.
- Able to work safely around complex, automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication, including both written and verbal forms of collaboration
- Proactive in finding root cause and fixing issues
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Associates degree in a technical discipline related to machine maintenance and repair preferred, Journeyperson certification preferred.
- Minimum of four years related, applicable experience with machine maintenance and repair in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
