The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of shredding and baling equipment, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the overall workflow. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect the shredder at the beginning of each shift to confirm it is in proper working condition; report any issues to maintenance immediately.
- Verify the functionality of all emergency stop buttons (e-stops) to ensure safety compliance.
- Monitor carts at the start of the shift, ensuring they are half full or less; promptly shred and record any carts exceeding this capacity, and manage carts that are within the acceptable range.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance (PM) within the first two hours of the shift to ensure equipment reliability.
- Remove waste material accumulated under the shredder to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Clear waste behind the shredder in the room to prevent buildup and facilitate smooth operation.

Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
