Director of Operations, Launch

As part of the WelbeHealth Launch Team, the Director of Operations, Launch is accountable for the initial launch and management of new programs. This role requires expertise in overseeing complex, cross-functional projects, hiring frontline healthcare team members, and building and directing high-functioning teams.

Essential Job Duties:

• Head new program pre-launch, launch, and immediate post-launch success, including leading a cross-functional team to deliver on our network, enrollment, workforce, and project management targets
• Continuously improve and codify enterprise best practices in the new market launch playbook to apply at future new program launches
• Ensure new program leaders are onboarded, trained, and mentored in alignment with best practices with clear intention to shift full accountability to the new leadership team within 90-days post launch
• Serve in a transitional or interim leadership role for launch and mature programs when needed
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and required program infrastructure setup in alignment with launch project budget and timeline
• Oversee central operations initiatives and optimization projects between launches

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required; master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a multi-discipline supervisory or leadership capacity with proven capability to develop and mentor team members
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
• Experience hiring and onboarding healthcare team members
• Experience working on complex, fast-paced, multi-discipline projects, managing timeline and budget goals and making sound decisions in emergency situations
• Ability to travel as business needs require
