What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Night Supervisor position at Wekiva Springs Center?
Wekiva Springs Center has an immediate opening for a PRN Night Supervisor. This position will be required to work one day per week with the reponsibility of working one weekend night per month from 7:00 pm – 7:30 am. If the supervisor is not needed to supervise that week, they will work as a floor nurse. The supervisor accepts the responsibility of the patients care indirectly and will occasionally have to work as a floor nurse due to various situations. This position will oversee an average of 21 staff each night and be responsible for ensuring the correct staffing levels are maintained according to budget.
The Supervisor must have a minimum of 5 years experience in nursing, with at least 1 year as a supervisor or manager, preferably in the nursing industry. The Supervisor must have the ability to hold the staff accountable for their actions and be willing to address with the staff.
