Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable CDL B Roll-Off Driver to transport roll-off containers to and from customer sites, ensuring safe, timely, and professional deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate has strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and a positive attitude toward customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate roll-off trucks to deliver, pick up, and transport containers from residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Secure containers safely and in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records, driver logs, and route documentation.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, yard staff, and customers.
- Assist with minor maintenance or cleanup tasks as needed in the yard.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License
- Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
- Minimum 2 years of roll-off or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and proper load securement.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service mindset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive movements such as climbing, bending, and lifting.
- Comfortable working around heavy machinery and outdoor environments.
