Facility Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician who takes pride in fixing things and keeping a building running the way it should. This is a true “jack-of-all-trades” role - you’ll handle everything from electrical and plumbing repairs to carpentry, lighting, HVAC support, and general upkeep across our facility.
No two days are the same. One day you might be troubleshooting a lighting issue, the next you’re patching drywall, fixing a door, or helping keep our systems running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems as they come up, and being the person people rely on to get things done right, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work in a stable, team-oriented environment.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
4 to 6 years of commercial office building maintenance experience

Responsibilities
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks and respond to repair requests across facilities
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, lighting, drywall, doors, locks, furniture, restrooms, roofing elements, and related components
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal building performance
- Support plumbing, HVAC systems, and fire system maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate written and electronic records of maintenance work in compliance with OSHA, ISO, and cGMP standards
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and hazardous work protocols
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
- Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and installations
- Work independently to manage multiple maintenance projects within schedule and budget
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
4 to 6 years of commercial office building maintenance experience
Knowledge, Skills Abilities
- Proficiency using hand and power tools
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions and documentation
- Experience with commercial office furniture installation and configuration
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to manage work within schedules and budgets
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and climb ladders
- Strong attention to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment
