Job Summary
We’re hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician to keep our high-volume distribution center running at peak performance. In this hands-on mechanical and electrical role, you’ll maintain and troubleshoot automated equipment, conveyor systems, and industrial controls that power daily operations. Your work will directly reduce downtime, support smooth order flow, and strengthen the reliability of our automation-driven environment.
If you’re skilled in electrical controls, PLC troubleshooting, 3-phase systems, or mechanical repair—and you thrive in fast-paced, problem-solving settings—this role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact every day.
Responsibilities
Education
4 to 6 years of equipment, automation, conveyance, or industrial machinery maintenance experience required, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily preventive maintenance activities (inspections, lubrication, adjustments, scheduled repairs) generated through Limball software.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, automation, and conveyor equipment to minimize downtime.
- Respond to unplanned equipment failures and complete corrective repairs safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, including Allen-Bradley PLCs, control wiring, motor starters, and VFDs.
- Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase electrical wiring, motors, and related components.
- Interpret and work from technical manuals, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Maintain accurate electronic and written maintenance documentation in accordance with OSHA, ISO, and internal procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to all required safety processes, including lockout/tagout and PPE use.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, uptime, and operational performance.
- Assist with parts management processes, including accurate spare parts inventory maintenance.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade school certification in mechanical, electrical, automation, or industrial maintenance preferred.
4 to 6 years of equipment, automation, conveyance, or industrial machinery maintenance experience required, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with automated equipment and conveyor systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, industrial controls, and basic automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, motor starters, VFDs, and industrial control wiring.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting experience with 3-phase electrical wiring and motors.
- Experience using maintenance software and completing documentation in a software-driven workflow.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-volume distribution or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Cognex vision/camera systems is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety and proficiency with lockout/tagout procedures.
