Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented law student to join our Firm for Summer 2026. This position offers an immersive experience in the practice of healthcare law and business law, providing opportunities to work closely with seasoned attorneys, gain hands-on experience, and contribute meaningfully to client matters.
This is a 100% on-site job in New Hyde Park, NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for client meetings, depositions, hearings and trials.
- Participate in various practice group meetings and training sessions.
- Collaborate on firm-wide initiatives.
- Shadow attorneys to observe and understand the dynamics of client interactions.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Juris Doctor (J.D.) program at an accredited law school.
- Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in healthcare.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity and client service.
