The Opportunity
We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and highly organized Social Growth Manager to lead the growth and execution of Weiss Ratings’ social media presence across multiple platforms. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and subscriber growth.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of growing social audiences through strategic content planning, performance analysis, and platform optimization. This position will oversee the full social content lifecycle, including content planning, production coordination, publishing, audience development, and performance reporting across YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, and emerging social platforms. The Social Growth Manager will work closely with creative teams, on-camera talent, marketing leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to build engaging content and drive measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies focused on audience growth, engagement, subscriber acquisition, and brand awareness.
- Content Planning & Calendar Management: Create and manage monthly and quarterly content calendars across YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Content Production Management: Coordinate content creation from concept through publication, partnering with copywriters, designers, video editors, and on-camera talent.
- Video & Content Execution: Manage video production schedules and workflows to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality content.
- Platform Optimization: Edit, optimize, and tailor content for each platform to maximize engagement, reach, watch time, and overall performance.
- Audience Development: Identify opportunities to grow audiences through content trends, platform features, partnerships, and community engagement strategies.
- Performance Analytics & Reporting: Monitor social media performance metrics and provide regular reporting with actionable recommendations to improve growth and engagement.
- Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Stay current on platform updates, emerging social media trends, competitor activity, and new content opportunities.
- Campaign Collaboration: Partner with marketing teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, webinars, events, and educational initiatives.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure messaging, visual identity, and brand standards are maintained across all social media channels while adapting content to each platform’s unique audience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Editorial, Compliance, Creative, and Production teams to successfully execute social media initiatives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and audience insights to continuously improve content performance, engagement, and growth outcomes.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3 years of experience managing and growing social media channels with demonstrated success.
- Proven track record of increasing audience growth, engagement, and content performance across multiple social platforms.
- Strong knowledge of social media strategy, content marketing, audience development, and platform-specific best practices.
- Experience coordinating content creation and video production from planning through publications.
- Advanced understanding of YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, and short-form video platforms.
- Experience using social analytics and reporting tools to measure performance and inform content strategy.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Creative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for building digital audiences.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environments.
Preferred:
- Experience growing social audiences within financial services, investing, fintech, publishing, or subscription-based businesses.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or similar tools.
- Experience managing YouTube channel growth strategies and video optimization.
- Knowledge of audience acquisition, content monetization, and subscriber growth programs.
- Experience working with on-camera talent, podcasts, webinars, or video-based content production.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
