We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled Director of IT to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all information technology operations and strategies within a multi-location manufacturing environment.
You will be instrumental in driving the organization's infrastructure technology strategies and projects, aligning them with our business objectives. Your leadership will ultimately enhance our competitive edge and operational efficiency. By mentoring and managing a team of IT professionals, you'll foster growth, development, and innovation within the organization. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping the future of technology at Weiss-Aug and maintaining our position as a global technology leader.
Responsibilities:
Pay Range: $150,000 - $185,000

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, software, and cybersecurity measures.
- Hire, train, and manage IT personnel, including developers, system administrators, and security experts.
- Negotiate contracts with IT vendors and ensure that their services meet the company's needs.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the manufacturing process.
- Work collaboratively with direct reports to support their career progression, nurture their development and to help them realize their potential.
- Responsible for global support desk with an optimized user experience for employees to report issues, follow up, and escalate.
- Collaborate and partner with all ERP, Applications and Operations teams to ensure all incidents are documented and transitioned with quality.
- Responsible for global Executive IT support ensuring all leaders in the organization are well supported and their IT experiences are optimal.
- Drive the adoption of digital tools and platforms that enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Master's degree or certifications in IT management or related areas can be beneficial.
- 10 years of IT experience, often with 5 years in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide IT teams.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security.
- Experience in driving technology innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proven expertise in Plex or other ERP systems
- Ability to travel occasionally – approximately 15%
Pay Range: $150,000 - $185,000
