Weisinger Incorporated is seeking a Yard Hand to join the Willis, Texas location. This role supports daily job site operations by assisting manual labor and servicing when needed using basic tools to accomplish the work such as shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows, etc.; and performs all other tasks not specifically indicated.
Job SummaryÂ
Performs a wide variety of duties in general manual laborer work including the yard, which includes repetitive heavy lifting, shoveling, hand work, climbing and performing work at different heights.
Essential Functions, Roles and Responsibilities
The following list includes essential duties and responsibilities. Perform all activities in accordance with all policies, principles, and procedures established by the Company.
- Assists in mowing the yard and keeping debris from collecting along fences.

- Performing general maintenance as needed
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
- Ensures equipment is properly placed and returned to its proper location.
- Work productively as a member of the team.
- Takes responsibility in the proper use, maintenance and safety of all tools and equipment.
- Properly wears all required personal protective equipment.
- Able to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may include working in other roles or in another department as needed.

Education and /or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid Texas Driver's license
Language Skills
- Ability to speak, write, read and understand English required for basic job function
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical or safety procedures, manuals and standards
- Ability to communicate routinely in training scenarios, in person and over telephone
Physical Demands
- Ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
- Standing and sitting particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell; and lift and /or move up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, assisted.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color distinction, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Compliance with 37 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 4 (which includes but is not limited to satisfactory Texas Department of Transportation physical exam and random drug testing) required if employee maintains CDL.
