Role Impact
You’ll be the on-site expert customers rely on—maintaining uptime and safety for forklifts and related material handling equipment throughout the local area.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs on gas, diesel, LP, and electric forklifts
- Conduct preventative maintenance services and thorough safety inspections
- Capture accurate notes, parts, and labor in a digital work order system (ServiceMax preferred; similar CMMS tools welcomed)
- Uphold inventory discipline and care for a company-assigned service vehicle and tool set
- Deliver professional, courteous communication and uphold LiftOne’s service standards
- 2 years of experience in material handling or transferable experience in automotive, diesel, military, or heavy equipment
- Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Self-directed and effective working independently in the field with local travel
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Customer-focused communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
- Safety-first mindset: consistently follows company and customer safety protocols to protect people and equipment
- Comprehensive factory and OEM training plus specialized industry development
