Job Duties:
The Branch Manager is responsible for all job duties listed under the Job
Descriptions for the Operations Manager and Account Administrator positions, in
addition to the following job duties:
1. Follow all Weiser policies and procedures.
2. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
3. Participate in monthly meetings with clients to complete Service Call Reports,
discuss Site Inspections, and follow up on specific requests made by clients. Meet
with all branch clients per the Service Call program.
4. Meet company standards or goals in areas of retention, rate increases, overtime,
and training time.
5. Maintain a master schedule for all accounts in the branch.
6. Review Overtime and Job Cost Reports weekly and directly supervise employees
on how to reduce and eliminate overtime.
7. Coordinate and complete all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports needed by
the Support Center.
8. Identify client needs from SCR(s) and initiate action to resolve client concerns.
Oversee execution of plans made to resolve client concerns with Operations
Manager and Account Administrator.
9. Ensure staffing is adequate at 32 hpw at all accounts in branch.
10. Report all claims of harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation to the VP-
HR, General Counsel, or CEO at the Support Center.
11. Report, track, complete, respond and defend unemployment claims in
conjunction with the Corporate HR Representative.
12. Oversee, coordinate with branch staff personnel, and participate in the
recruitment, selection, orientation, training, development and retention of high
caliber staff; act to ensure that each staff member is treated with dignity and
respect; plan, assign, and direct work; coach employees and carry out disciplinary
actions, as necessary.
13. Within scope of contract and assigned duties, authorize appropriate
expenditures including equipment, supplies and vehicles; act to ensure that
vehicles are properly maintained and administer driver training; act to ensure that
there is an adequate inventory of uniforms, radios, and other supplies and
equipment; maintain and submit payroll records and other associate and business
information.
14. Manage over branch job vacancies by working with Account Administrator
and Administrative Assistant(s) to staff said vacancies.
15. Timely document and validate all employee performance problems via a
Coaching and Counseling form or other documentation in the
Employee File.
16. Timely document and validate all discharges in Employee Files.
17. Negotiate Rate Increases with all clients.
18. Responding on an on-call basis to emergencies and incidents at all hours.
19. Review and develop Post Orders monthly. Oversee the Post Orders of all
Account Administrators' accounts.
20. During monthly visits to client sites, initiate ongoing communication with
Security Officers and Supervisors at the sites.
21. Develop subordinates for Site Supervisor(s), Field Supervisor(s), Account
Administrator(s), and Operations Manager positions.
22. Oversee collection of, review, and process payroll time sheets and source
documents for all employees.
23. Report all claims of accidents and injuries involving employees and third
parties to the VP-Human Resources and work directly with the VP-Human
Resources in the handling of all workers’ compensation claims.
24. Prepare Rate Increases and submit to the RVP.
25. Review Account Receivables and submit plan to resolve outstanding issues.
26. Build teams and oversee work duties of Operations Manager and Account
Administrator.
27. Ensure all Company policies and procedures, federal and state laws are being
followed and properly train Operations Managers, Account Administrators,
Administrative Assistant(s), and Field Supervisors thereon.
28. Oversee retention of accounts and make plans for accounts in the jeopardy
program.
29. Hold weekly staff meetings.
30. Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support of office personnel including
recruitment, training, corrective actions and adherence to company policy for
Operations Manager, Account Administrator(s), Field Supervisor(s), and
Administrative Assistant(s).
31. Ensure all office staff understand and comply with all applicable EEOC, wage
and hour, and other laws governing employment.
32. Ensure contract required training and screening elements for security
personnel have been met, as well as quality assurance and contract compliance.
33. Analyze operational and financial indicators to continuously improve branch
performance; ensures profitable operations with full profit and loss accountability.
34. Develop and administer branch budget in collaboration with Operations
Manager, Account Administrator(s), Field Supervisor(s) and Administrative
Assistant(s), if any.
35. Provide input to RVP and Support Center personnel and promptly assist in the
resolution of legal, financial, human resources and administrative issues.
36. Final approval of Post Orders.
37. Meet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime.
Qualifications:
Four year College Degree and 10 years of experience in combination of law
enforcement, military or management. Must be able to provide upon job offer a
DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military.
Able to obtain a state license where applicable.
Clean criminal background.
Clean driving record.
