What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammo Tech (Part Time) position at Weirton Medical Center?
Mammography Techs perform routine & diagnostic radiology & mammography services as required for care and treatment of patients. Assist radiologist and physicians when necessary. Must be registered in Mammography. Perform routine, diagnostic, special procedures (biopsy, needle loc, saviscouts, etc.) and DEXA.
Mammography Tech qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY
Two-year educational or specialized training programs in radiology technology and must be registered with (ARRT) (R) (M) American Registry of Radiological Technologists & licensed in the State of West Virginia.
EXPERIENCE
One year experience working in radiology department performing radiological diagnostic examinations, and a minimum of 9 months experience in the second registered modality. Must be registered in Mammography
